OEM Licensing

Lucis is generic image-processing software that can enhance any image. Each application for Lucis, such as photography or medical imaging, involves using images with specific characteristics. The image information desired and the interpretation of any new information revealed by Lucis differs by application. Knowledge of how the image was produced, the subject matter, and what you would like to see can be used to customize and improve Lucis operation. Therefore, ICT licenses Lucis so it can be customized and embedded in imaging products and software.

The advantages of embedding Lucis into customer products include:

  • Customize the Lucis User Interface so the look, language, and feel of Lucis' operation are familiar to your target market.
  • Make Lucis operation seamless with the rest of the system.
  • Create function keys with set Lucis parameters to facilitate the enhancement of images.
  • Limit the range of operation so Lucis does not enhance inherent noise in the image.
  • Develop research and interpretive guides that tell your customers where to look for information and what it means.

ICT will customize a license agreement and service contract to meet your needs. ICT will provide product integration consulting services or licensees may choose to integrate Lucis themselves.
